Pip Squeak and Wilfred Auntie Penguin Candy Container

Pip, Squeak and Wilfred were a British comic strip set of characters published in the Daily Mirror from 1919 to 1956.
Conceived by Bertram Lamb and drawn by Austin Bowen Payne until around 1939.
The tale of orphaned animals, Pip the dog, took the father role, Squeak the penguin, the mother and baby rabbit Wilfred. Auntie was an elderly penguin that made the occasional appearance.
Here we have a very rare version of Auntie, made of mohair, felt and velvet, by a very good quality, but unknown maker. Inside her body is this cardboard canister, which I presume is a sweet holder.
